Overwhelmed
Guardian, professional (employed and contracted), minister (leader, teacher, preacher, prayer), daughter/niece/cousin and friend. I am me, in this. My twenties have served their purpose. My thirties will prove ambitious. I need to wrap up loose ends and have the discipline that the demands of life will require.
Two months ago, I was a lazy workaholic, giddy to spoil my parents.

Anxiety: Philippians 4:6-7

Discipline: Hebrews 12:11
Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Discipline: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
24) Do you not know that in a race the runners all compete, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win it. 25) Athletes exercise self-control in all things; they do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable one. 26) So I do not run aimlessly, nor do I box as though beating the air; 27) but I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified.
